The project will consist in conducting a comprehensive natural inventory of the Rakowice Mine area and the surroundings, and proposing reclamation activities focused on creating natural habitats for species found in the study area. We will invite external experts and schoolchildren to cooperate - together with them, on the basis of theoretical online meetings and practical meetings in the field, we will create proposals for natural microhabitats that can be created in the mine as an element of reclamation. We plan to put the developed ideas on a public geoportal, thanks to which the results of our work and concepts created with the participation of students can be used not only by employees and management of the mine, but also by anyone willing.

The main goals of the project are: recognition of the species status and protection of fauna and flora during reclamation, as well as educating the public on methods of active nature protection.
